I have been selling travel for over 26 years – travel is my passion and I loves designing holidays for our clients and helping to make their dreams a reality. Everyone has different needs when traveling, I have the complete faith that our team has the experience and knowledge to ensure your experience is all that you want it to be and more.
In the last 18 months I have been lucky enough to travel on the Rocky Mountaineer through the Canadian Rockies, drive a Mustang from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas and on to San Francisco, spent a week exploring Vietnam, took the family to Singapore and Bali, enjoyed a special “top ten awards” trip to Fiji and then had an amazing time in Japan – so many awesome experiences!! I love my job!!
I am really proud of my achievements over the last 12 months – top ten broker for The Travel Brokers and recently named as a finalist for New Zealand Travel Broker of the Year.

I have been in the industry for almost 8 years after my youngest went off to school. I am originally from Canada and have always enjoyed travel on a personal level and now enjoy making our clients dreams come true. I have travelled to Mexico, Barbados, USA ( been to most of it), Canada (most of it), Fiji, Rarotonga, Tahiti, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and did a Contiki Tour of Europe (where I met my husband and ended up in NZ)! After spending years on our dairy farm helping my husband I decided it was time to do something else without having to be too far from home.
Although I am still a busy mum of 3 and still help on the farm when required I have so much passion about travel and love helping our clients plan their travels whether it being just a small jaunt across the ditch or an amazing 6-week tour of Europe. Being able to see our clients photos and hear about their wonderful experiences upon their return is so rewarding.

I am so glad to be back in the industry after taking some time off to start a family. The world is a wonderful place and I love exploring it, through my own travels and through my clients. I have traveled to Fiji (Denarau, Coral Coast, Pacific Harbour, Mamanucas and Yasawas), Samoa, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Canada (lived in Vancouver), USA including Hawaii, Greece, Italy, France, Monaco, Spain, England. I have also cruised Tropical North Queensland and driven a campervan around the beautiful South Island!
I'm passionate about people experiencing different cultures; tasting their food, learning their history; walking their streets; swimming in their oceans! I know how hard people work to be able to have these experiences so I strive to make the planning process as simple and exciting as possible and the holiday extraordinary.

I have worked both in the travel and tourism industries for over 14 years and love the excitement and happiness people get from travelling. My travels have taken me to 25 countries over 4 continents, from floating around the historic city of Kampong Ayer; to riding a camel around the pyramids of Gisa; training Muay Thai in Bangkok; watching the horses leave the stables of Churchill Downs on Derby Day; strolling around the romantic Gardens of Ninfa; or just simply relaxing on the beach watching the whales in Rarotonga. The world is an amazing and diverse place, with so many incredible sights and cultures to see and experience.
I am lucky to have visited some amazing places over the years, and I would love to be able to share my knowledge with others. I am thoroughly enjoying being part of the Kay Humphries team and look forward to helping people achieve their travel dreams.
